Hot Whisky Mustard

This is one of our most popular mustards and once you taste it, it's easy to understand why! It's a spicy and dark coloured whole-seeded mustard, steeped in Tasmanian single malt whisky. It's magnificent when served with meats, vegetables and cheeses.

Julie's tip: This is a great example of one of our products that can take a simple meal or dish and make it great. Don't try to do too much with this mustard; think steak, roast meats or leg ham and sandwiches. The addition of Tasmanian single malt whisky gives it a special flavour that has turned it into one of the real heroes of our range. Give it a try - it's delicious!

Wild Wholeseed Mustard

For lovers of mild mustards this is ideal. It's great when added to vegetables, salad dressings and hams. You can add to potatoes topped with sour cream for a crowd-pleaser and of course, it's right at home at the table during a BBQ.

Julie's tip: Our Mild Wholeseed Mustard has a subtle and interesting flavour. It's not as bold as our other mustards, which really allows the quality of the wholeseed to shine. This is a lovely option for someone who likes mustard but doesn't want so much spice. It's also really popular with a number of restaurants that serve very high-end beef cuts as it doesn't overpower quality beef like wagyu.

Pepperberry Mustard

The spicy heat of the Tasmanian Pepperberry provides this seeded mustard with distinctive taste and colour – deep burgundy. This is a really interesting mustard that showcases one of the unique flavours of the Tasmanian wilderness. Interestingly, the Pepperberry loses some of its heat as we cook it but retains its flavour.

Julie's tip: This is a beautiful product for a few reasons. It's flavour is interesting, with the Pepperberry pairing so well with the mustard. The colour is magnificent - I never tire of seeing our visitors' reactions to it! It's also a true Tassie product, with an ingredient from the sub-alpine areas of our state. Not only is it delicious but there is an interesting origin behind it too. I love to add this one to salad dressings and of course, quality meats and game.

Horseradish Mustard

Hot and smooth! This mustard is nothing short of exceptional with roast beef and steak. Wonderful to cook with too. You can break from tradition and try this mustard with rich fish such as salmon or tuna too.

Julie's tip: This mustard is a bit of a cult classic in our range! It's not for everyone as it packs a horseradish punch but if you like some spice and that traditional horseradish flavour, it's a winner. It's such a beautifully intense flavour that you don't need to use much of it each time you enjoy it.

Honey Mustard

This seeded mustard has well balanced flavours through the use of bush honey rather than meadow honey. It's not too spicy, allowing the flavour of the honey to be enjoyed. Delicious with meats and cheeses and to add to sauces and salad dressings.

Julie's tip: This mustard is a real crowd-pleaser. I love seeing our guests' reactions when it's on the table at a BBQ, as the honey flavour is a lovely surprise to some people. It's one of the products we're really proud of, as it allows us to support local honey producers while showcasing our own premium mustard. Try this one on a piece of sourdough with thickly cut leg ham - it's hart to beat!

Hot Chilli Mustard

A full-flavoured whole seed mustard for lovers of hot chilli. Delicious with hot or cold meats. Try brushing it on to meat before grilling or baking.

Julie's tip: This mustard means business! It's spicy, full of flavour and is so popular with our customers who can handle the heat. As well as using it on your favourite cut of steak, cooking with our Hot Chilli Mustard is a really good option. It's a great base for a tangy dressing or for tossing chat potatoes in to add some spice.
